Quick BIo

I was born in Long Branch, New Jersey. Grew up in Lakewood and Rahway, NJ.  At 19 I enlisted in the Navy, as a hospital corpsman, where my duty stations included Great Lakes, Ill;  Bethesda, MD; Camp Lejeune, NC; Okinawa, Japan; Al Anbar Province, Iraq; and Camp Pendleton, Ca.

After my enlistment, I began my path of education at Southwestern Community College, UC BerkeleyCal State East Bay, and UC San Francisco for medical school.

I am currently a third year resident in Emergency Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital

My goal is to create music that speaks to those in the healthcare field, and those pursing careers in healthcare. There will be two main genres, one will be educational, while the other is similar to narrative medicine.

I would love for this to be a collaborative effort so if you have any suggestions for songs please share those thoughts with me via the contact page. I'm a busy resident, but aim to complete at least one song for month. If possible, subscribe to the Cleavon MD YouTube page.  This website will be under constant revision, as we are in the early stages.

Thank you for all your support.
